Couch Scene Contest Entry

Quick pic for contest. I didn't originally plan on entering, but I needed a distraction from an ear infection and I haven't done any anthro art in ages. This was a lot of fun; Paige's markings were a blast, and the couch was fun, too. I just now saw that another entry has a couch scene(love the style, btw). Great minds must think alike. I almost considered redoing the background, but I couldn't find a reason to bother. Yeah, that's the couch in my garage, rat and all.

Anyways, this is Coy. The coyote. Haha.. Yeah, really inventive name. No, really, I'll explain later. I'm gonna smooth out a character sheet detailing her markings, typical dress, and a few random scenes of her and Paige, 'cause I really love Paige's markings. The stripes are just fucking fun to color. I've never been fond of brown hyenas until now. But all the character information for the contest will be on that submission. So, really, I guess this is just for the fuck of it. Download for actual pixels.

Etc.: She entered this career with the prompting of her first girlfriend, who was an artist. She had taken art history classes, etc. while in college so it worked out. After working for a couple years in the field doing less-cool shit, she's eventually made a name for herself as a dealer, risking it to do a few bad, but profitable deals. Not her dream job, but it was good money. She made good connections, allowing her access to some awesome parties. Woo. If it was up to me how the two met, I'd say Paige was chilling, trying to get in a club/party/wtf ever and maybe her or her friends made a scene, which caught Coy's eye and she got Paige in with her. They got trashed, crashed at Coy's loft, which unbeknownst to her was silent permission from Coy for Paige to randomly pick her lock and continue to crash there.

Huge Personality Rant:
-Seems mature, 'adult', 'grown-up' but definately has her youthful side.
-She's.. toned down in comparison to Paige, which balances their relationship, i.e.- Paige seems to like somewhat-confrontation and instigation, whereas Coy doesn't tend to start shit like that. However, Coy has the motivation that Paige lacks. Hence, balance in energy/activity in the relationship.
-She's passively dominant. In the relationship, she does any real decision making.
-She almost comes off indifferent or uninterested, but she actually does like Paige.
-She could be a workaholic if unstopped, lol. She wouldn't take time to be lazy if it wasn't for Paige.

Other Random Notes:
- She also suffers from the 'dog accusation'. Being a coyote, she's often called a dog, wolf, or fox, all of which irritate the piss out of her. She just doesn't show it due to her laid-back demeanor. But the fact that it bothers Paige as well.. well, seeing Paige rant or rave or whatever about it makes Coy get over it, too.
